A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking 6 Senior Security Assessor/Cyber Advisors to manage the challenge of delivering mission critical programs of National Importance. These critical roles will play a key part modernisation of legacy environments. The successful candidates will be engaged on an initial 12-month contract with a further 2 x 12-month extension.

The successful Senior Security Assessor/Cyber Advisors will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Identifying and engaging relevant security authorities, and business stakeholders in security aseessment activities.
• Conduct cloud security assessments methodically and in accordance with a defined process
• Align security assessments with the Information Security Manual’s risk-based approach to cyber security.
• Undertake tailored ISM-based security risk assessments to ensure a high level of security assurance 
• Assessing security risk of the component using established enterprise risk assessment framework and, where necessary, recommending additional security controls to reduce security risk

The successful Senior Security Assessor/Cyber Advisors will have experience in the following:

• Experience conducting and delivering security risk assessments for large and complex
  technology solutions
• Proven ability to communicate security threats, risks, mitigations, and recommendations clearly and
  with influence
• Relevant IT Security qualifications and certifications, such IRAP, CISA, GSNA, GIAC
• Hands on experience delivery of large and complex technology programs or projects using contemporary
  agile methodologies and tools.
• Cloud platform security certifications or experience working with commercial Hyper scale cloud capabilities is highly desirable.
