A prominent Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and support large-scale Azure environments. The successful Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will join a highly skilled technology team, delivering critical services that provide stability, security, and reliability. This role is based in ACT, with hybrid work from home arrangements considered.

The successful Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Building Azure DevOps pipelines and deploying/configuring resources in the Department’s Azure subscriptions.
• Providing L3 support for business applications infrastructure hosted in Azure, including firewall configuration and maintenance.
• Managing virtual infrastructure and Cloud data factories, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and project managers to deliver secure, cost-effective solutions.
• Developing and maintaining Terraform code libraries/modules using Agile processes.

The successful Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience managing complex production deployments in Azure Cloud environments.
• Strong administration skills across Microsoft cloud services such as M365, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of Federal Government compliance frameworks, including IT security environments (e.g., ACSC Essential 8).
• Experience producing technical documentation and managing infrastructure change requests within governance requirements.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications supporting cloud engineering expertise.
