A prominent Federal Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Network Communications Specialist. The successful Network Communications Specialist will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view for a further 12 month extension and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Network Communications Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Researching, designing, testing, and implementing new technologies to support the secure National Telepresence Service.
• Developing, maintaining, and implementing collaboration solutions aligned to strategic goals.
• Investigating and resolving complex issues in coordination with the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
• Maintaining collaboration tools in the Secure Communications lab to mirror production environments.

The successful Network Communications Specialist will have experience in the following:

• Strong knowledge of network routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP, and related protocols.
• Designing and implementing secure and scalable Unified Communications (UC) solutions.
• Overseeing or administering UC systems within complex environments.
• Effective research, analysis, and communication skills.
