A leading Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Cyber Security Assessors to join a highly specialised cyber assessment team. The successful Cyber Security Assessors will be responsible for reviewing system architectures and security documentation to assess the design and implementation of security controls, supporting national security outcomes. Cyber Security Assessor will be offered a 12-month contract + 2 x 12 month extension, open toACT.

The successful Cyber Security Assessor will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Undertake complex technical assessment activities in information and cyber security
• Undertake objective systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence
• Work within a framework of legislation, established industry principles, work practices and procedures
• Liaise with multiple projects and capability stakeholders to assist in design and documentation of ICT system security controls

The successful Cyber Security Assessor will have experience in the following:

• IRAP certified
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a security specialist across architecture, risk management, network security, or security operations.
• Experience ensuring technical systems adhere to Essential Eight, ISM, and PSPF frameworks
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical systems to non-technical audiences
