We are seeking Infrastructure Engineers to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Infrastructure Engineers will be responsible for the software integration and Virtualisation of virtual machines to work on a set equipment, signals and networking hardware components across complex Defence systems. The successful Infrastructure Engineers will secure an initial 6-month contract with the view to be extended and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The Infrastructure Engineers will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Providing networking and security, scripting and configuration of consoles etc.
• Conducting Software integration
• Troubleshooting and detecting problem reports and defects
• Logging to identify root cause of bugs (mix of software and systems engineering)
• Tracing functionality to requirements and testing and evaluating of software functionality.

The Infrastructure Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Experience with Virtualisation / virtual machines
• Knowledge of hardware components including storage, memory, simulators etc.
• Experience with Windows/ Linux OS
