We are seeking Scrum Masters to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Scrum Master will play a key role in supporting multidisciplinary delivery teams, improving team performance, and driving the effective use of agile ways of working across complex delivery environments.
The successful Scrum Masters will secure a 12-month contract with 2x12 month extension options, based in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW or SA.
The Scrum Master will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Coaching teams in agile values, principles and practices, and fostering a strong agile mindset
- Facilitating agile ceremonies
- Removing blockers and impediments to ensure teams remain focused on agreed goals and delivery outcomes
- Working closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog refinement
- Supporting team cohesion, performance, self-organisation and continuous improvement
The Scrum Master will have experience in the following:
- Experience as a Scrum Master supporting one or more multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles and practices and their effective application
- Experience with continuous delivery, product delivery lifecycles and team performance improvement
- Experience using relevant tools such as Jira and familiarity with Lean and Kanban methodologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, coaching and problem-solving capability
