 We are seeking Cloud Specialists to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Cloud Specialists will play a key role supporting the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of cloud-hosted platforms across AWS technologies. The successful Cloud Specialists will secure an initial contract until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension, based in Canberra with flexible working arrangements.

The Cloud Specialists will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Contributing to the design, development, support & maintenance of AWS cloud-hosted platforms
• Providing technical advice to IT teams, managed service providers and vendors
• Coaching and mentoring staff on cloud hosting solutions and knowledge transfer
• Developing and maintaining technical standards, procedures and cloud documentation
• Managing priorities and deliverables in line with endorsed enterprise architecture

The Cloud Specialists will have experience in the following:

• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with AWS IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention, archiving, eDiscovery and enterprise compliance
• Strong understanding of backup strategy development and optimisation
• Experience across Microsoft and xUnix infrastructure stacks in hybrid cloud environments
• Proven experience automating tasks through code automation
