A leading Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Architect to support a major cloud transformation and environment uplift program. Working within a secure Azure environment, you will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, resilient and secure cloud networking solutions that underpin critical government services. The successful Cloud Network Architect will be offered an initial contract through to June 2027 with a 12-month extension option.

 

The successful Cloud Network Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing secure cloud network architectures including virtual networks, segmentation models and scalable connectivity solutions.
• Delivering hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Implementing cloud-native network security controls including firewalls, access management and application delivery services.
• Designing and maintaining private connectivity, DNS and secure service access patterns.

 

The successful Cloud Network Architect will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure cloud networking solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity, network segmentation and cloud security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring, logging, performance optimisation and operational support.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with security, platform and engineering teams to deliver secure-by-design outcomes.
