An established Australian technology company is looking to engage an enthusiastic IT Support / Entry Level Cyber Security Officer to join its growing ICT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start or further develop a career in Cyber Security while gaining hands-on experience across IT support, systems administration and cyber operations. The successful IT Support / Entry Level Cyber Security Officer will join a collaborative team, working 2–3 days per week with flexible hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to grow into a broader Cyber Security role.

The successful IT Support / Entry Level Cyber Security Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to internal staff across hardware, software and Microsoft 365 environments
• Assisting with user onboarding and offboarding, account administration and device configuration
• Supporting endpoint security, vulnerability management and cyber security best practices
• Monitoring and responding to security alerts and escalating incidents where required
• Maintaining ICT documentation, asset registers and standard operating procedures
• Assisting with the implementation and ongoing support of security tools and technologies
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a secure and reliable IT environment

The successful IT Support / Entry Level Cyber Security Officer will have experience in the following:

• Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or Help Desk role
• A genuine passion for Cyber Security and a desire to build a career in the industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and endpoint devices
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and cyber security principles
• Relevant IT or Cyber Security qualifications or certifications (or currently studying) will be highly regarded
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
• Australian working rights
