An established organisation specialising in marine survey, cargo inspection and testing services is looking to engage an experienced Manager – Marketing (Coal Vessel Survey) to drive business development across Queensland's coal export industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of business growth, develop key client relationships and expand market presence across some of Australia's busiest coal ports.

Based in Queensland (Gladstone, Mackay, Brisbane or surrounding coal port regions), you will work closely with mining companies, exporters, shipping organisations and port stakeholders to secure new business while supporting the delivery of high-quality marine survey services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop new business across Queensland's coal export market.
• Secure vessel nominations for marine survey services.
• Build strong relationships with miners, traders and shipping companies.
• Monitor tenders and prepare commercial proposals.
• Track vessel movements and identify business opportunities.
• Coordinate with operational teams to deliver quality services.
• Represent the business across industry events and client meetings.

To be successful you will have:

• Proven business development experience within the marine, shipping or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of coal exports, vessel operations or cargo inspection services.
• An established network across Queensland ports or the bulk commodities sector.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing key accounts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
