A high-profile Federal Government agency is seeking MULTIPLE experienced Data Scientists to join a strategic analytics branch driving innovation and impact. You’ll work on advanced data science, AI, and NLP projects that support the effectiveness of a nationwide program.

The successful Data Scientists will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing and developing data science and AI models, including decision-support systems
• Applying statistical, mathematical and NLP techniques to evaluate scheme effectiveness
• Collaborating across technical and business teams to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions
• Presenting and communicating findings in a clear, tailored manner for a range of stakeholders
• Contributing to key initiatives and supporting executive-level analytics requests

The successful Data Scientists will have experience in:

• 4+ years as a data scientist or actuary working on complex analytics and modelling problems
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, modelling, and deployment
• Experience applying AI techniques, particularly in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• SQL and data extraction from cloud storage (e.g. AWS S3)
• Familiarity with Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and AI assurance frameworks
