A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the planning and managing ongoing delivery of a payment platform. The successful Project Manager will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Co-ordinating technical solution planning activities for new capabilities and features, involving specialty teams

• Developing the project schedule, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements and other priorities.
• Delivering all technical components of the project solution, working with other internal teams to develop system and solution architectures, cyber security and other aspects of the technology delivery
• Representing the project in ICT Change Management activities and release planning

The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:

• Establishing and managing the delivery of technical ICT system delivery projects, including mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of contemporary project management and governance frameworks
• Project Management in Federal or State Government environments
• Demonstrated experience of large-scale agile delivery methodologies
