A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Test Lead play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, fit-for-purpose ICT solutions as part of a major government digital transformation initiative. The successful Test Lead will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Test Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading test delivery with vendors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality
• Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and supporting test data.
• Managing defect triages, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders during UAT.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and test automation.

The successful Test Lead will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience leading testing activities for complex programs, including creating Test Summary Reports.
• Strong Agile testing experience with a focus on sprint delivery
• Hands-on experience using test management tools such as Jira Xray and Salesforce CRM
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
