One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to assist with the monitoring, investigation and mitigation of security incidents.  The successful Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be offered a 12-month contract with a 12-month extension!

The successful Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Analysing security event data and identifying suspicious and malicious activity from networks and systems.
• Escalating and investigating complex incidents, engaging with subject matter experts and management.
• Staying informed on emerging cyber threats and proactively implement security enhancements to maintain the integrity and resilience of systems.

The successful Senior Cyber Security Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Familiarity in security operations tools – SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners
• Demonstrated experience in a Security/Network Operations Centre roles (or similar)
• Familiarity with Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and government compliance obligations.
