One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Insider Threat and Assurance Analyst (Senior Cyber Threat Analyst) to play a critical role in protecting the Agency from internal risks and malicious activity. The successful Insider Threat and Assurance Analyst will be offered an 18-month contract with 1 x 18-month extension!

The successful Insider Threat and Assurance Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Conducting fused intelligence analysis within an insider threat context.
• Supporting the uplift of policy, governance and processes for the Insider Threat capability.
• Performing behavioural and vulnerability analysis, providing actionable security intelligence.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to reduce the Agency’s risk exposure.
• Identifying trends, preparing detailed reports, and advising leadership on complex security matters.
• Contributing to the vision and strategy for the Agency’s Insider Threat Program.

The successful Insider Threat and Assurance Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Intelligence and/or security qualifications.
• Proven experience in intelligence, insider threat, investigation or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of the intelligence cycle and its application in a security context.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
