One of Australia's most innovative Federal Government Departments is looking to engage a skilled and experienced .Net React Software Engineer / Solution Developer to join in a multidisciplinary team in Canberra, or Melbourne and implement new business solutions as part of its digital transformation program. The successful .Net React Software Engineer / Solution Developer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with extension options at a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful .Net React Software Engineer / Solution Developer will be responsible for but not limited to the following;

• Undertaking software development in the following: Bespoke ASP.NET Core web app (Web API, Entity Framework Core) and Solutions based on ReactJS using TypeScript and JavaScript,
• Maintain CI/CD build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps/Git.
• Perform systems analysis, investigating technical problems and working with relevant team members to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Work closely with the platform architect and other developers to deliver and maintain high quality, extensible, and maintainable tools and systems in line with robust SDLC practices and to deadlines.
• Contribute to capability uplift in technical skill sets and processes across the department

The successful .Net React Software Engineer / Solution Developer  must have experience in the following;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a solutions developer using modern Microsoft products and cloud platforms, including the following development technologies:.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, ReactJS, Azure DevOps with Git, Web APIs and Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong communication skill, both written and verbal, with an ability to communicate at technical, business and interpersonal levels
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team or organisation within Agile principles, practices or frameworks (i.e. Scrum) and Knowledge of the Commonwealth Digital Service Standard will be highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications in an ICT related field or applicable industry certifications.
• Working knowledge of Dataverse and Dynamics 365, including writing Query Expressions or LINQ to access CRM data will be advantageous
