One of Australia’s most impactful Federal Government programs is seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to join the team supporting the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS) – a Whole-of-Government platform used by over 93 agencies and 30,000+ active users. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile system that supports ministerial correspondence, parliamentary inquiries, and executive-level communications. The successful Senior Business Analysts will be offered an initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option and a lucrative hourly rate!

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Analyse and define business rules, user requirements, and workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams in an agile environment.
• Prioritise and refine backlog items, including acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability uplift.
• Apply user-centric design principles and ensure WCAG accessibility compliance.

To be successful, you will have:

• 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally in government settings.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery and iterative development.
• Experience with lightweight documentation and MVP delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and user-centred design.
