A leading Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join its high-performing Digital Applications team. This is a critical role driving the development of the department’s strategic Digital Service Platform and contributing to major technology transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with potential extension and a lucrative hourly rate!

As a .NET Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy complex web applications using the .NET technology stack.
• Provide technical recommendations and input into solution and UI designs.
• Ensure applications meet WCAG accessibility and security compliance standards.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding best practices.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful, you will have:

• 7+ years of experience developing and deploying complex web applications using ASP.NET.
• 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular).
• Strong experience with REST/JSON APIs and SQL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (TFS, GIT, JIRA).
• Experience with DevOps, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with outsystems (highly desirable)
