A leading Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) Advisor – Senior Service Manager Expert to shape and deliver organisational-level service management strategy, governance, and policy. This high-impact role offers the chance to influence ICT change and incident management frameworks across a critical agency. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with extension options and a competitive daily rate!

The successful ITSM Advisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Reviewing and developing Service Management Strategy and ITSM Policy at agency level.
• Providing expert-level ITSM advice to leadership and project teams.
• Shaping and directing ICT incident and change management strategies.
• Developing professional streams to establish ITSM career pathways and mitigate skill gaps.
• Ensuring effective risk management and governance across organisational boundaries.

The successful ITSM Advisor must have experience in the following:

• Leading organisational-level ITSM strategy and policy development.
• Negotiating and implementing governance and process change across business and technical groups.
• Shaping ICT incident and/or change management frameworks.
• Developing systems of control to identify and treat risk effectively.
