One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of strategic data assets and data products. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with lucrative hourly rates and the possibility of extension.

The successful Delivery Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading a cross-functional team (Technical BAs, Data Analysts, Testers) to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Managing project schedules in JIRA and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing dependencies between delivery objectives and other business areas.
• Engaging and managing stakeholders effectively to overcome delivery risks and issues.
• Reviewing business and technical design documents to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of data solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

The successful Delivery Manager will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated expertise leading data and analytics teams and business teams.
• Strong experience planning and implementing data assets and data products.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in agile/hybrid environments using JIRA.
• Working within quality assurance frameworks and adhering to defined processes.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word with strong analytical skills.

Desirable skills include:

• Data modelling, analysis, and visualization skills.
• Experience in data-driven businesses.
• Background as a project manager or product owner.
