A leading Federal Government agency is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to join a high-performing team. This critical role will deliver innovative integration solutions to support the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), improving outcomes for Australians with disabilities.

The successful Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer will be offered an initial 5-month contract with a 5-month extension option at a competitive hourly rate.

The successful Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Develop experience, process, and system API assets using MuleSoft 4.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, designers, and testers to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
• Define and maintain quality integration standards.
• Prepare specifications for data integration and replication across systems.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance.
• Create reusable assets and components aligned with project standards.
• Support configuration testing and SIT efforts.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer for BAU support teams.

The successful Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer must have experience in the following:

• Proven experience integrating MuleSoft 4 in complex ICT environments.
• Strong background in designing REST-based services and asynchronous eventing, including API design.
• Formal certifications and 5+ years in integration development.
• Experience in Agile CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
