One of Australia’s prominent Federal Government departments is actively seeking an experienced Lead Systems Analyst to support a major multi-year digital uplift program. This is a critical role contributing to the uplift of cyber security, modernisation of cloud and on-prem services, and enhancement of secure identity and access capabilities across a global network. The successful candidate will secure an initial 12-month contract with two 12-month extension options, along with competitive hourly rates.

The successful Systems Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Examining existing analysis and mapping frameworks to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiency and cyber security posture.
• Liaising with stakeholders located domestically and internationally and documenting findings.
• Consolidating and defining organisational groups and role structures to support automated cloud migrations.
• Developing operating models suitable for secure, distributed environments.
• Supporting market approaches and preparing procurement-related documentation.
• Collaborating with internal technical teams and third-party vendors to implement detailed business requirements.
• Assisting with transition-to-service documentation including SOPs and knowledge base articles.

The successful Systems Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ systems analysis experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop functional and non-functional requirements for large-scale ICT infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of cloud and on-premise infrastructure and their interactions.
• Experience developing requirements for cloud services.
• Experience working on cyber security uplift initiatives.
