A Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital services across multiple business areas. Working within a multidisciplinary Agile team, this role will focus on gathering, analysing and translating business requirements into high-quality artefacts that support the delivery of user-centred digital solutions.

The Business Analyst will work closely with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts and delivery teams throughout the full development lifecycle — from discovery and requirements elicitation through to system walkthroughs and user training. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to nationally significant digital services in a collaborative government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements for complex IT systems
• Produce business-focused artefacts including process maps, use cases, functional specifications and user stories
• Facilitate and lead workshops, stakeholder consultations and requirement-gathering sessions
• Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams within Agile environments

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering business analysis for complex ICT systems
• Strong experience working in Agile delivery teams and DevOps environments
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and artefacts
• Experience coordinating and leading consultation with internal and external stakeholders
