One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Fullstack Java Developer to support the delivery of high-quality digital solutions that improve service outcomes for millions of Australians. The successful Fullstack Java Developer will join a high-performing delivery team working across modern, enterprise-grade applications and will be offered an initial 12 month contract with extension options up to 24 months.

The successful Fullstack Java Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Undertaking analysis, design, development, prototyping, testing and maintenance activities across complex applications.
• Providing support to development teams to deliver high-quality ICT solutions in Agile multidisciplinary environments.
• Defining software and technical designs for complex custom solutions, including integration with backend services 

The successful Fullstack Java Developer will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in modern frontend development using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and responsive design frameworks.
• Strong backend development experience using Java Spring, Node.js and RESTful APIs/microservices.
• Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, DB2 or PostgreSQL.

Long term (up to 3 year contract) Angular Developer role offers a diverse work environment and attractive contracting rates.
