We are seeking Service Operations Coordinators / Operations Support Analysts to join a high-performing Federal Government organisation operating at the forefront of cyber security and national resilience. This role plays a critical part in coordinating responses to cyber security incidents and supporting operational activities that protect Australian Government systems, industry and critical networks.

The Service Operations Coordinator will provide operational governance and coordination across complex incident and investigation activities, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure effective, timely responses. This opportunity offers an initial 12-month contract, strong extension potential and the chance to work on nationally significant, high-impact security operations.

The Service Operations Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Coordinating and governing responses to cyber security incidents, investigations and significant events
• Planning and supporting incident response and hunt operations across multiple teams
• Engaging with internal teams and affected stakeholders during active incidents
• Supporting the development and maintenance of incident response policies and procedures
• Maintaining situational awareness across defensive and offensive cyber disciplines
• Providing operational support to ensure effective information flow and decision-making

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:

• Incident management, investigation and response activities
• Supporting or contributing to information security incident response processes
• Basic information risk management planning
• Third-party or stakeholder engagement within security or operational environments
• Working within structured operational or governance frameworks
• Operating effectively in high-pressure, time-critical situations
