One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale digital transformation program. The successful candidate will assist in capturing and managing requirements, documenting solutions, processes and technical detail, and working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.

The successful Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Discovering, defining, validating and prioritising business and technical requirements across complex projects.
• Facilitating workshops and undertaking business analysis activities including process modelling, requirements management and data analysis.
• Translating technical concepts, system requirements and solution details into clear documentation and simple business language.
• Working with project teams, technical SMEs, business stakeholders and vendors to support delivery of integrated systems and services.

The successful Technical Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar Business Analyst role supporting high-impact digital or ICT initiatives.
• Strong experience engaging technical SMEs and presenting technical concepts in clear, simple terms.
• 3+ years’ experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Microsoft Azure, including delivery of new services.
• Experience supporting staff-facing internal systems such as ERP, recruitment, learning, performance management or similar enabling systems.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to join a major Federal Government digital transformation program. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option and rewarding hourly rates.
