A leading Australian government agency is looking to engage Wintel Engineers to undertake the deployment, manage and maintain a range Microsoft Windows-based server and desktop infrastructure. The successful Wintel Engineers will be offered an initial contract until 30 June 2026, with two 12-month extension options.

The successful Wintel Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

•  Providing server automation to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
• Implementing and managing security software and configurations, and managing user access and permission.
• Creating accurate and clear documentation for troubleshooting procedures & system configurations
• Developing and managing hardened Windows COE environments including application patching and application deployment.

The successful Wintel Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, & DHCP
•  The ability to work as a member of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients at multiple organisational levels.
• Experience or exposure to on premise cloud technologies.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, investigation and reverse engineering of complex and undocumented
• system
