A prominent Federal Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Objectstar Software Engineer (Development Expert) to support critical application development and migration initiatives. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead complex software development activities, provide technical leadership and drive Objectstar data migration and transformation projects within a large-scale enterprise environment.

The successful Senior Objectstar Software Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Developing and supporting Objectstar applications including data migration and code transformation activities
• Leading software design, analysis, development, prototyping, unit testing and production support
• Driving release, deployment and configuration activities ensuring high-quality, secure and maintainable code
• Providing specialist technical advice and mentoring team members across complex ICT environments

The successful Senior Objectstar Software Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Strong Objectstar development expertise, including COBOL and JCL
• Leading software construction, integration, release and deployment activities (SFIA Level 5 equivalent)
• Designing complex systems and software solutions aligned to endorsed methodologies and standards
• Investigating and resolving highly complex ICT issues within enterprise production environments
