A leading Government organisation is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the operation, maintenance and enhancement of enterprise network infrastructure across a large and complex ICT environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of reliable, secure and high-performing network services that support essential public sector digital services.

The successful Network Engineer will work across operational support and project activities, maintaining LAN, WAN and wireless network services while ensuring the stability and performance of core ICT infrastructure. The role offers an initial 12-month contract and the opportunity to work within a collaborative technical team delivering network services that support critical government operations.

The successful Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing operational support and maintenance of enterprise data networks to agreed service levels
• Assisting with troubleshooting, break/fix activities and ongoing network performance improvements
• Installing, configuring and maintaining network equipment across LAN, WAN and wireless environments
• Supporting the implementation of new network connections and maintaining accurate technical documentation

The successful Network Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Experience supporting LAN, WAN and wireless network technologies within multi-vendor environments
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across enterprise network infrastructure
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining network devices and associated services
• Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills within operational ICT environments
