One of Australia’s most progressive Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Senior Entra ID Cloud Engineer to provide technical leadership across cloud identity, authentication and access governance services. The successful Senior Entra ID Cloud Engineer will play a key role in strengthening Microsoft Entra ID capability across complex cloud and hybrid environments.

The successful Senior Entra ID Cloud Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading the design, implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Entra ID services, including identity integration, conditional access, MFA and privileged access management.
• Strengthening identity governance, lifecycle management, RBAC, access reviews and least privilege access controls.
• Supporting Azure cloud services across compute, storage, monitoring, automation and platform operations.
• Developing cloud and identity security controls, governance frameworks and operational processes aligned to government security requirements.

The successful Senior Entra ID Cloud Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing and operating Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory in enterprise environments.
• Experience with identity governance, conditional access, authentication services, hybrid identity models and access controls.
• Proven scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.
• Experience with cross-tenant identity architectures, including Entra ID B2B and/or B2C.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, Azure RBAC, cloud security best practice and Microsoft Azure platform operations.
